The Deadly Iraq War

I just read that the death toll of US Marines was higher this month than last. What a shame.

I thought I might look at some of the statistics in graphical form to get a better idea of how deadly this Bush/Cheney war has cost Americans their life.

The graph shows it all.

Remember when Bush declared war over in Iraq? And then yelled out "Mission Accomplished"?

Oh Good Grief

10 Year Old Grilled Cheese Sandwich Worth $28,000.

I can't believe it!

Someone actually paid money for a 10 year old sandwich. Why? Because the Virgin Mary's face is on it.

What is going on in this country? Boy, talk about living the American dream. $28,000 for some bread.

Oh man, I've gotta strip off some paint from my wall and sell it. It looks like Jesus. My garbage can is filled with images of Adam and Eve too.

She saved it for 10 years. It's even got a bite missing from it. She could've probably gotten $40,000 if she hadn't taken a bite out of it.

I'm still in awe. This is so bizarre!

OH GOOD GRIEF!

Automatic Jar Opener

Yep! That's right.

Now you don't even need the strength or the physical energy to open up a jar of baby food. Just put your jar into this $40.00 machine and it'll do the work for you.

Look how huge that that machine is. Are you really going to put that on your kitchen counter? I doubt it. Couldn't they have made it a little smaller?

Did you notice it really is a jar of baby food in the machine? Well, there you go...the baby is not strong enough to open the jar, so we better get Dad to turn on the machine.

Does anyone really need this? Okay, maybe someone who is handicapped or something. But me?

Are baby food containers really that hard to open?

Oh Good Grief!

Kerry Gives Up

How pathetic. Without all votes not fully counted and tallied, Kerry calls Bush to concede race.

"A Kerry adviser said the campaign had concluded that the too-close-to-call
battleground state of Ohio was not going to come through for the Democrats."
Kerry gave up. I was always taught, "It's not over, 'til it's over".

What happened to the statement John Edwards made early Wednesday morning? "We will fight for every vote. You deserve no less."

Apparently we do deserve less...Kerry says Bush is the winner.

With this kind of result from the Kerry campaign, I see no difference, really, in either party.

Oh Good Grief!

P.S. I'm a registered Libertarian who voted for Kerry to defeat Bush. It didn't work.

Osama Helped Determine the Outcome

Osama wouldn't have showed up on TV and still be around to do more damage if George Bush had done his job in the first place.

http://www.capitolhillblue.com/artman/publish/article_5637.shtml

There's a reason why there is so much killing in Iraq. It's easier, more convenient, for terrorists to kill Americans in Iraq than all the way over here in America. George Bush' administration is helping the effort. Kind of ironic, isn't it?

We went to Iraq instead of going after the real killer...Osama.

Aren't people in America questioning why this man is still around? Apparently not.

Oh Good Grief!

Politicians are Hypocrites

I just received another unsolicited phone call from a candidate/politician soliciting his vote. (Good thing I'm screening my calls tonight)

Should I put them on the "Do Not Call" list the government setup to stop businesses from infringing on my time and in my home?

What gives the right of politicians or candidates the right to telemarket their message and then tell corporations it's not allowed?

Hypocrites.

We are the people...we should be the government.
