Apparently a lot of "Hard Work"

My previous post, I spoke of the President's "Hard Work" quote in the debate. I did some research and found the transcript to the debate on whitehouse.gov.

I searched the page (typed in the keyboard shortcut CTRL+F) and counted Bush saying, "it's hard work" 7 times. I did another search on just, "hard work". 11 times. Whew.

So basically the murderous war we're fighting in Iraq is hard work. NO SHIT!

Here's a sample...
"Yes, we're getting the job done. It's hard work. Everybody knows it's hard work because there's a determined enemy that's trying to defeat us." - George Bush

I performed a Google search on whitehouse.gov looking for the phrase "hard work" and in the process noticed he says it everywhere else, not just in the debate.
  1. President Bush at Victory 2004 Luncheon (what victory?)
"People long for freedom. It's not easy, though, to go from being tortured and maimed, and a society where there is mass graves, to a free society. It's hard work. It's really hard work. "
  2. President Bush Salutes Soldiers in Fort Lewis, Washington
"This is tough work. It's hard work. It's hard work to go from a society terrorized by a tyrant to a free society."
  3. And Many More...

I like the second one. It's tough and it's hard work.

Am I going overboard? Possibly. But it's fun.

You can't disbute he said these things. I got this information fair and square from whitehouse.gov. Who better to know than the White House themselves, right? right?

Oh Good Grief! Think of something else to say, PLEASE!

Anyhoo...I'm sure we'll continue this discussion.

P.S. Bush is such an easy target. ;-(

"It's Hard Work"

...and were going to get the job done.

Oh my...the Presidential Debates. Did you see it? All 90 minutes. I did.

I can't remember how many times George Bush said it - "It's Hard Work". If someone knows how many times George Bush said "It's Hard Work", please let me know.

A couple of times I knew when he was going to say it even before he said it. He'd speak in a round about way, mostly circles, and just when I thought he was going to say it - I swear to God - I said it first and then immediately after I said it, George Bush would say it. It was a great "Oh Good Grief" moment.

Don't forget the other quotes: "getting the job done", "steadfast"...etc.

George Bush could have used a little "hard work" tonight. ;-)

Oh Good Grief!

Open Up and Say Ahhh...

My girlfriend was reading a magazine the other day.

No harm in that.

She had the magazine folded over, so she was reading one side:

and when I walked by, all I saw was the other side,

which was this...

OH MY GOD! I mean...Oh Good Grief!

I took a double take. What the hell was she reading? Penthouse, Playboy? No, it was Jane magazine.

I started laughing to myself, not knowing no one else saw what I saw. My girlfriend wanted to know what was so funny. Here...let me show you my dear. ;-)

I showed her the full image first:

"Yeah so", she said.

"Okay, now look at it", I said covering the lower half of the image.

"What do you see now?", I asked.

"Oh My God!" She said.

I know. So blatant. (I'll leave you to fill in your own dirty details)

I guess she's supposed to be asking for help with her shoes. Right...asking for help. Sure she is.

I don't know about you, buy I can only see one thing she's asking for.

Oh Good Grief!
